Amazing 2 Day Tsavo East Safari with overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge Our plan was to spend 10 days on the beach doing nothing so a safari trip was not on the cards and very much a last minute thing. Our hotel recommended Marco Polo Safaris and Marco suggested the overnight stop at Voi Wildlife Lodge. It was a 7am start and a 3.5 hour drive to Tsavo East with a comfort break along the way. They are improving the roads for the heavy lorry traffic and as such it did take a little longer to get there and back then it should do. Our driver, Sifa, was amazing and got us there safe and sound. We then had a 2 hour game drive through the park to get to our lodge where we had lunch and some down time. Sifa then took us out for another 2 hour game drive and as soon as we entered we saw hundreds of elephants, and I mean hundreds. We have been to the Masai Mara and Kruger before but I have never seen so many elephants. In addition to Giraffes, Zebra and Antelope we were really lucky to also see 2 lion cubs that afternoon doing their Simba and Mustafa impression sat up on a rock whilst there parents went off in search of food. The evening was spent at the hotel which had a large watering hole with viewing platform where we could watch the hippo, elephants, buffalo and antelope whilst enjoying dinner and a much needed cold beer! It was an early start again at 7am for a further 2 hour game drive before starting our journey back to Diani Beach. Sifa knew we wanted to see more lions and possibly cheetah if possible and kept in constant radio contact with other drivers for possible sightings. Our 2 lion cubs had moved on and been joined by mum and dad who were all having an early morning snooze. It was just fabulous! My husband has always wanted to see a cobra and was absolutely thrilled to see a King Cobra and Spitting Cobra out in the wild. Thankfully, we didnt get too close! I would absolutely recommend this trip and it is really good value for money. Make sure you ask for Sifa as your guide because he is just great. The hotel was basic (supposedly 4 star) but where maybe it was somewhat dated, the watering hole viewing more than made up for it.

One day safari to Tsavo East Two weeks ago, we went on a one-day safari to Tsavo East. Firstly, Marco is professional, and friendly and can recommend trips you would like to have.For the day we booked a safari no one else had booked before. We appreciate very much that Marco did not cancel or postpone the trip, instead, he gave the car and a driver just for the 2 of us, whereas we had an agreement. On safari, so much depends on the driver. We were lucky to get the best one who was very attentive. We were surprised that he was able to drive and even showed us some animals we were not able to notice. Thanks to him we saw really a lot. I remember he was searching for the lions to show us since he was told that there had been lions nearby in the morning. And we found!!!! Two lions laying under the tree.So, we would definitely recommend Marco Polo Safaris.Best wishes,Mila&Marian

Each time it's fantastic!
He chose absolutely incredible lodges for us in Tsavo and Amboseli, with magnificent panoramas, as close as possible to the animals.
In each of the lodges we went from surprise to surprise, and always had perfectly placed rooms.
We had a 4x4 Land Cruiser for us, with Amos, a really great driver-guide: serious, kind, attentive and incredibly efficient in spotting animals.
Abdul our 2017 guide is also great!
All the guides communicate by radio and exchange information on the position of the animals. We saw everything, except the rhinos.
Fabulous organization where everything was perfect.

We used Marco Polo tours for our Safari and a boat trip to see the dolphins. Both tours were well organised with fair prices . Safari with Siva It was amazing. The Animals we saw were breathtaking as an european. Was very fun because our Tour Guide Siva was very funny and Kind. Can Only recommend!

Animal paradise We enjoyed the experience of safari with Marco Polo in three days and two nights: we have seen both Tsavo East and Tsavo West.
Our driver, Amos, has been the perfect guide! We saw some wonderful landscapes and many animals, including cheetahs, which are really rare.
The experience has been very cool and the quality-price ratio was really good.
