Amazing 2 Day Tsavo East Safari with overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge Our plan was to spend 10 days on the beach doing nothing so a safari trip was not on the cards and very much a last minute thing. Our hotel recommended Marco Polo Safaris and Marco suggested the overnight stop at Voi Wildlife Lodge. It was a 7am start and a 3.5 hour drive to Tsavo East with a comfort break along the way. They are improving the roads for the heavy lorry traffic and as such it did take a little longer to get there and back then it should do. Our driver, Sifa, was amazing and got us there safe and sound. We then had a 2 hour game drive through the park to get to our lodge where we had lunch and some down time. Sifa then took us out for another 2 hour game drive and as soon as we entered we saw hundreds of elephants, and I mean hundreds. We have been to the Masai Mara and Kruger before but I have never seen so many elephants. In addition to Giraffes, Zebra and Antelope we were really lucky to also see 2 lion cubs that afternoon doing their Simba and Mustafa impression sat up on a rock whilst there parents went off in search of food. The evening was spent at the hotel which had a large watering hole with viewing platform where we could watch the hippo, elephants, buffalo and antelope whilst enjoying dinner and a much needed cold beer! It was an early start again at 7am for a further 2 hour game drive before starting our journey back to Diani Beach. Sifa knew we wanted to see more lions and possibly cheetah if possible and kept in constant radio contact with other drivers for possible sightings. Our 2 lion cubs had moved on and been joined by mum and dad who were all having an early morning snooze. It was just fabulous! My husband has always wanted to see a cobra and was absolutely thrilled to see a King Cobra and Spitting Cobra out in the wild. Thankfully, we didnt get too close! I would absolutely recommend this trip and it is really good value for money. Make sure you ask for Sifa as your guide because he is just great. The hotel was basic (supposedly 4 star) but where maybe it was somewhat dated, the watering hole viewing more than made up for it.

Most memorable 'Bucket list' holiday !! Two families with older kids on first trip Kenya, a bucket list holiday Marco Polo was recommended by a friend and they planned an itinerary for us months in advance. easy to deal with and flexible to our needs.

The Safaris completely lived up to our expectations and more. even though the great migration was almost over, apparently shorter this year, something no one can predict but amazing Big 5 sightings never the less. We were lucky to have Michael our exceptional Driver Guide, full of local knowledge and an eye like an eagle to spot wildlife from afar The kids loved his company.

Accommodation Camps/Hotels were good overall, stunning locations but some minor issues like hot water and food that could be an area of improvement.

Overall, most memorable holiday and we would happily come again with Marco Polo and Michael as the trusted guide Thanks to both of them !!

Definitely recommend this tour company!! We went to Shimba Hills National Reserve and Wasini Island.It was very exciting experience!!They were on time and provided excellent service!!Mr.Jeremaya guided us to Simba Hills . He is very kind and good driver. I forgot some items at restaurant in Simba Hills but he was willing to take us.I want to see Sable Antelope, but it was difficult to find them. but he tried many times.He was very personable, and we enjoyed ourselves very much!! Also, We could see many dolphins and enjoyed eating sea foods, visiting schools, nice landscape at Wasini islands.We appreciate your nice guiding.We're happy. When we go to Diani, we'll contact you again.

Great Safari experience The Safari and the lodge were fantastic. Our guide/driver Abdul was very good at driving, he was friendly and very knowledgeable about both the places we visited and the animals we saw.

Amazing! It was a great experience! Marco and our driver Amos were kind and helpful. We arranged our 1-day trip to Tsavo East with a Private Jeep, going back and forth from Kilifi. And had a great buffet lunch in a lodge!
I definitely recommend to book with them!
