Tsavo-East Marco Polo Safari I contacted Marco from Germany, and everything went really well. I had all the information in advance and was constantly reminded of the date (you're on vacation, and it's easy to forget the date).
I also received a WhatsApp message in case anything came up, or the driver was looking for us, etc.
The pickup was on time, we received the services we booked, and had a wonderful day.
The driver did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and happy. He explained here and there which animals we were seeing, gave us little tidbits about the animals' behavior, and always gave us enough time and patience to get the perfect photo.
And NO, we weren't alone in the vehicle.

Great safari with knowledgable guide This was originally a booking to travel in 2020 and had to be postponed due to Covid. Rising cost of airfares and airline cancellations meant I had to make several changes. Marco Polo were very prompt in responding and flexible which was so helpful. The safari itself was amazing. We saw elephants, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, hippos, monkeys, lions, buffalo, crocodiles, warthogs and more. Our guide was informative with 20 years of experience under his belt. Both accommodations were good, clean, offered good food and viewing areas for the wildlife. We stayed at Sentrim Tsavo Camp and Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Kilaguni was definitely my favourite out of the 2. We had the best view at breakfast watching the animals. It was unforgettable! The jeep was in good condition and I wouldn't hesitate to book with Marco Polo again. We enjoyed Tsavo East and West this time. I'd love to go back and see Maasai Mara next time. Amazing experience ❤️ Quick answers to questions, pricing of the trip, arranging the flight from Diani to the Masai Mara and back, accommodation-all very smoothly. It was the most wonderful adventure of a lifetime. If you go to the Masai Mara be sure to ask for a guide Ben - he knows how to find every animal in the park and on top of that he is super nice.

Good safari expérience as a woman solo traveller As a solo french woman, I went on safari at the beginning of January with Marco Polo Safari in front of my Neptune hôtel. About my experience : Elijah was a super driver with good interactions and easy to talk , also safe drive and protective, I really appreciate having him as a guide. For the safari, at least its a lottery and unfortunelly it wasnt full of animals like I could expect but it was ok. I understand that's the game and I m already feel lucky and grateful to saw éléphants, buffalos, girafes, zebras, and quickly quickly one lion. 😁 Good experience !

Amazing experience! Flying over the wildgrass in Masai Mara Reserve is unforgettable. Marco recommended us beautiful camp- Oloshaika Camp. Although, it may not be as popular as Mara Engai, it was all worth it, wonderful interior and friendly staff, that made our stay even more pleasant. Highly recommend Marco Polo Tours and Safaris. Check it out if you are near Mwabungu/ Diani Beach, its office is opposite Neptune Hotels.
