Kenya Safari Having just returned from a week safari in Kenya, my wife and I would highly recommend Marco Polo Safaris. Marco was a pleasure to deal with throughout and ensured that the process from booking to arrival to departure was seamless. Our guide, Michael, was very friendly, highly professional and went out of his way to make our visit one to remember. We travelled to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and each location/associated accommodation was fantastic (we were also lucky enough to see all of the Big Five!). Unforgettable Safari experience thanks to Mathias!! Marco from Marco Polo Safari helped us book an amazing safari experience to Tsavo Park East, we got a private car for the 3 of us at a great price. I cannot say enough about our amazing tour guide Mathias, it would have been an incredible experience regardless, but he took it to the next level. Very kind, friendly, treated us like family and was extremely knowledgeable! He shared a lot of information about Kenya, history, geography, current events, nature . And a true expert on all things in Tsavo Park! With decades of experience, he knew all the animal hotspots, He showed us the big five and more!! Car was very comfortable, and the camp we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. At the end of the trip he offered to take us to a Maasai village, where we got a tour of their homes, village, and were treated to a traditional dance. On my next trip to Diani, we will be using Marco Polo to book more excursions and personally requesting Mathias to get some time with this incredible man!! The Best Safari! We had an 11 day safari with Marco Polo safaris and it was the best experience. I enquired with many companies before travelling and Marco was great at replying and giving advice on the best way to do such a long safari which included an internal flight and a hot air balloon trip. There is always a worry about making payments in advance but that's where trust is essential and I would not hesitate to use Marco again or to recommend him and his company to anyone. He even booked and arranged our hotel at Diani beach which saved us time and effort.

We had 2 drivers for our Safari. Michaeal Kimeu took us on the first half and he was just the best. Michael was a careful and considerate driver, had a great, genuine personality and did everything he could to get us to see the animals. Boniface (Bonnie) was our second driver and he was equally good. He took us to all the beautiful spots and managed to get us to see some amazing sites of lions straight after a kill (not for the faint hearted!).

As I said before, I would definitely recommend Marco Polo safaris and I hope you get to see all of the things we saw plus more.

Safari - the wild Africa Excellent experience, we saw 13 kinds of animals including elephants, lions, giraffe and buffaloes. Best driver Bonface. He really could find many hidden animals. It was a perfect touch with wild Africa. Also the countryside was beautiful. The night we spent in Aruba Lodge - nice accommodation and good food. We really enjoyed every minute from these two days on Safari and we have a lot of unforgettable memories.

His deep knowledge of wildlife and their behaviors was impressive, and he also shared many fascinating stories about Kenyan life and culture. By the end of the trip, he had become more than a guide—he became a friend.
