We used Marco Polo tours for our Safari and a boat trip to see the dolphins. Both tours were well organised with fair prices . We had a brilliant stay on Safari with great accommodation and facilities and an excellent day at sea for the dolphin tour. Our drivers on all trips were knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. Safari with Michael Amazing time with Michael on Safari from Marco Polo Safaris. I really recommend them - they really knows what they are doing and doing it in the best way. We had our trip with Michael - 7 days safari starting in Nairobi up to Diani Beach and visiting on the way Masai Mara, Nakuru Lake Amboseli, Tsavo East & West. Michael was our guide and he is amazing person - very knowledgeable, experienced, knowing a lot about animals' habits and how to find the very best spot (and very close) to watch them. He is able notice animals out from nowhere - many times we had opportunity to spend long time with animals (lions, cheetah etc.) without anyone around. And yes - we saw big 5 and much, much more 🙂 Michael is very joyful, flexible, patient and listened our needs all the way long. His positive attitude and smile was with us all the time making that day fly away very quickly with positive energy. Thanks to him this trip was unforgettable! Worth to add that also organizational perspective all was amazing and Marco who organized everything was easily reachable and responded promptly on our all questions. On top of safari we had Nairobi tour & Wasini Island trip which was also organized by Marco and it went perfectly. On Wasini we were positively surprised when we learned that Marco book for us lunch in smaller and less touristic place with amazing sea-food where we could rest from tourists. Good safari expérience as a woman solo traveller As a solo french woman, I went on safari at the beginning of January with Marco Polo Safari in front of my Neptune hôtel. About my experience : Elijah was a super driver with good interactions and easy to talk , also safe drive and protective, I really appreciate having him as a guide. For the safari, at least its a lottery and unfortunelly it wasnt full of animals like I could expect but it was ok. I understand that's the game and I m already feel lucky and grateful to saw éléphants, buffalos, girafes, zebras, and quickly quickly one lion. 😁 Good experience !

2 days in Tsavo East with all the beautiful small and big friends! I’ve just returned from my second safari with Marco Polo Safaris, and once again it was a truly memorable experience. This time I booked a 2-day safari to Tsavo East, and I traveled alone, which turned out to be the best decision. Going solo meant I could fully focus on the animals I’m most excited about, take my time, and enjoy every moment without rushing.

My guide, Mike, was outstanding. He’s calm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, but what impressed me most is his eye for wildlife. He notices movement and details in the landscape that most people would completely miss. From the very beginning, it felt like I was with someone who genuinely loves what he does.

The safari kicked off with a spotted owl, and from that moment birds became the highlight of the trip. We spotted an amazing variety: big and small birds, plus many different birds of prey. If you’re a bird lover (or even if you think you aren’t), this experience might convert you.

My absolute favorite memory was seeing mongooses jumping around on a termite mound — it was one of those simple, joyful wildlife moments you don’t forget. And it reminded me of something important: safari isn’t only about ticking off the Big Five. It’s about admiring every creature, from the smallest animals to the iconic ones, and taking in the stunning landscapes that make the whole experience feel special.

A big thank to Marco, as always, who helped me plan the safari ahead of time. The communication was smooth, the advice was helpful, and the patience and support made everything stress-free. And Mike, thank you for the laughs, the great company, and all the incredible sightings (even outside the park!). I’d absolutely recommend Marco Polo Safaris and would happily book again.
