Hi George and Michael. I would like to share my feedback for a group safari to Mikumi national park. Frankly speaking, it was an amazing safari. Seeing three big five wasn't a joke it was a true memory safari and adventure. A group of family elephants, three lions and a leopard on a tree among others were more than enough for a day safari. Unforgettable Safari experience thanks to Mathias!! Marco from Marco Polo Safari helped us book an amazing safari experience to Tsavo Park East, we got a private car for the 3 of us at a great price. I cannot say enough about our amazing tour guide Mathias, it would have been an incredible experience regardless, but he took it to the next level. Very kind, friendly, treated us like family and was extremely knowledgeable! He shared a lot of information about Kenya, history, geography, current events, nature . And a true expert on all things in Tsavo Park! With decades of experience, he knew all the animal hotspots, He showed us the big five and more!! Car was very comfortable, and the camp we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. At the end of the trip he offered to take us to a Maasai village, where we got a tour of their homes, village, and were treated to a traditional dance. On my next trip to Diani, we will be using Marco Polo to book more excursions and personally requesting Mathias to get some time with this incredible man!!
